Nah, I think you will be able to find something. Perhaps even rotate through the more often recommended OPs. Might be a little tight at the end as you are there for part of Carnival, but I bet you still can get on a boat.

My wife and I along with two friends, one will stay topside will be in Cozumel from Feb 3 - 9, 2013. Diving with Blue XT Sea on Feb 5th and 7th. Feb 6-13th staying at Coral Reef Inn and diving with Living Underwater. Will be me, my wife, our two sons and their fiances.

Deb and I are coming the day after you leave, sorry we will miss you. Leave that Mankini home, I don't think Cozumel is ready for it!!!!

I stayed at FA and dove with Dive House several times, mostly on group trips through our local dive shop. Dive House is a safe, solid operation. I enjoyed diving with them. In recent years, I have been diving with Aldora. You get more personal service, small (but well-equipped), fast boats, early pickups (including at the FA pier), steel 120s, a wider variety of dive sites (everything from Maracaibo to Barracuda), and some really nice, long dives at great, uncrowded sites. They group divers on boats by experience and ability. Generally, they also separate air and nitrox divers. It's been great diving with Aldora. You might want to consider them, along with some of the other highly-regarded ops, like Blue XT Sea or Living Underwater. A standard dive with Dive House will be time-limited at 40-45 minutes, regardless of how much breathing gas or no-deco time you have left. At Aldora, you dive your computer and gas supply. On my last trip, I think the shortest dive was 70 minutes and the longest was 100 minutes. We dove Maracaibo Wall, Maracaibo Shallows, Punta Sur, Columbia Deep, and Cantarel, in addition to some of the more familiar sites. I've also been to San Juan and Barracuda with Aldora. I never got south of Palancar on the wall with Dive House, though we did get to Columbia Shallows once, and we never went north of Paradise. I always had a good time with Dive House, but diving with Aldora has been nothing short of spectacular.

My wife and I will be at Villa Aldora and I will be diving with Aldora February 23 through March 2.
