So happy you are ok. In the pic you posted of your dive, was the "V" shaped portion planned, or was that were the current took you? I'm newish and this is the first time I've seen someone post up such a great map of the route they took. Thanks for that, and again, glad you are ok.
 
On this type of dive, I am following the shape of terrain. Going out I tend to stay deeper. When I hit my turnaround depth, I follow the same set of headings, but at a shallower depth. I get some different scenery a conservegas to build in some extra margin of safety. The current made us go farther on the outward bound leg a slowed us on the return. The locations are approximate,since I don't like to do pop-ups.the waves were also making us stray deeper than I normally would have liked.
