On the contrary! Have you finished memorizing BSDME yet? I'm going in August, and I don't even have the site order and designations down yet. Back to the flashcards... :rofl3:

This use to be good advise but earlier this year for whatever reason they now require a boarding pass before they will take the tax. So you must now go through the checkin line before paying the tax.

What....What.....What.........

This will add lots of confusion, before you couldn't check in without the tax paid.

It is true that in the past you could not check in to your flight at Flamingo airport without having paid the tax. However, this year the rules changed and now you need to get your boarding pass first then go to the departure tax window. I always enjoyed paying my tax a few days early during a quiet time at the airport and was somewhat worried on my last trip that the lines would be long as I was leaving on a Sunday morning when three flights were going out. The tax window line was not long and having to get a boarding pass first did not add significantly to the time. There is a sign posted in the tax window but there were still a few people who did not know which to do first.
