We were on a Shark and Ray Feeding tour that was limited to about 10 people.
The boat operators take you to the far side of the Lagoon, very close to the Barrier Reef.
They throw food into the water to attract the Sharks (30 to 40 Sharks showed up within 30 seconds), and then you jump in to view them.
I was amazed at how close you get to the Sharks without any apparent danger. We were in the water for about 20 minutes without any problems.
The boat operators referred to the Sharks as "Dogs", but warned us never to touch the dogs while their eating
