Fishing boats and nets at dive sites in Gulf of Thailand

Hi,
Does anyone have any recommendations of who we can write or contact about all the fishing nets over some of our most famous dives sites here in the gulf? Sail Rock and Chumphon Pinnacle are covered in nets some days. Now I know the Princess dives here and maybe she has seen, but if we can get some pretty big petitions together any idea who may pay attention?

Start locally with the local politicians, your PADI RM, local TAT, these would be the kind of people that can steer you in the right direction imho.

Unfortunately it is not only fishing boats causing damage to the underwater environment.
Around Pattaya I regularly see pleasure / tourist boats going about their business without regard for the environment, unfortunately that also encompasses some dive boats.
I wish you luck in your quest, I think you are going to need it.
