Has been awhile since I dove this site(maybe 9 months or so)
Viz 70 plus
water temp 75 no current
Calm seas
To start I do not see a dead reef at all.
That being said scltd, last years bleaching and hurricanes have hurt.
The above stressors appear to be similar in other parts of the Caribbean
The good news the fish population is dense
We saw multiples of turtles ,sharks, morays and dolphin pods
My 2 cents

I may need to book a Molassess reef dive because my last trip to Key Largo was extremely disappointing. It was some of the worst reef I've ever seen and made me never want to return.

Nice to see another dive report & Thank you for the conditions. The Winch Hole is world famous like the statue. Great pictures !!

To start I do not see a dead reef at all.
The reef is in great shape....there are a couple of reports that state otherwise. Molasses Reef is in excellent shape. :bigpalm:
