Have you ever wondered what free-diving is all about? Would you like to hear other ways you can enjoy the under water world beside scuba diving? Would you like to hear how free-diving can help your scuba diving?
NDO is hosting a free information session about free-diving on Thursday, July 28 at 6:00pm in Nanaimo. You will learn what it is, why people do it, what you need to do it, and how you can progress from here. Our hope is to work with Performance Freediving (Mandy-Rae Cruickshank and Kirk Krack) to bring a basic free-diving course to Nanaimo in the future. Guest and local diver Mike Duffey will be showing some awesome video of free-diving and telling about his experiences and future plans for the sport.
This information session is open to everyone, both divers and non-divers.
