Lauderdale has some great diving. There's a bunch of wrecks you can check out: The Sea Empress and Royal Caribbean are two good ones in about 50-60' of water, I'd also check out the Capt. Dan, an old coast guard buoy tender resting upright in about 100' of water. We did those dives with my advanced class, and they were a blast!

Also, be sure to look into Tennaco Towers and/or Hog Heaven. Try getting your hands on a copy of Ned DeLoach's Florida Underwater Diving. It has alot of the good sites listed!

I agree with other posts here that Scubatyme, Miss Conduct and Diversity are three of the very best in North Ft. Lauderdale/Deerfield area in my experiience.

I go to pompano every december and I use parrot island scuba all the time. I think I told the shop owner where I was from about 6 years ago and every year he remembers my name and where im from. I see him about 5 time in the 2 weeks. Good customer service.

JRScuba:
This is a great dive ops. The operation is well run and caters to the customers.

I have been with them before. They have the last dock by the draw bridge and you can hardly get your wetsuit on before you are at the dive site.

I am booked with them on November 10th. I am hoping the water has settled down after Hurricane Wilma. They said they just got their electricity back on and I was the first booking.
