G1X MK II upgrade or R10 ?

Hello everyone.

I currently own an old Canon G1X MK II with canon housing. I've been using it for a few years and I feel that if I want to level up my photos it's time to at least invest in a flash system. However, I've been eyeing the Canon R10.

Do you think it's better to keep my old camera and invest in a flash system, or is the new R10 really worth it? Obviously kit complete with flash and dome and fisheye

Start with the strobes. They're the biggest single improvement to underwater image quality that you can get, and you can carry them over to whatever new camera that you upgrade to eventually.
