I did a shore dive from Casino Point at Catalina Island on Saturday, October 27th (~3pm). It was in about 30-40 feet of water. It is attached to a head strap, within a dive housing, and orange back float on the back (that didn't seem to work). I have more details and can verify it is mine. If found, please contact me! I am sad about losing the video footage of Catalina more than anything else.

If found please message me through my email - LORENHATT@gmail.com

Here is a map of where I think I lost it at.

Thank you!

Was following a lead about someone who overheard an instructor finding a goPro on Monday. Through a description and a lot of searching I found the friendly instructor who was actually talking about a goPro he found last year at the dive site.

My hunt continues and I have sent an email to all the local dives shops. I called the Los Angeles Sheriffs on Avalon to find out if anything has been turned in ...and nothing thus far. Sheriffs recommended to also call the Harbor Department. Harbor department said anything they find is turned into the Sheriffs.

All I can do is wait at this point.

I know the local dive shops are aware of this. I will keep my eyes open for it, too. Unfortunately with all the invasive Sargassum horneri starting to grow it may be very difficult to find.
