My BIL who lives in Canmore tells me that Minnewatsis (haha... take THAT filters!) is very brisk. Apparently, he helped set up part of the buoy sistem there.

I've seen it. It looks bloody cold. It's not glacier fed like Lake Louise, is it?

DSDO, eh?!

No, Lake Minnewhatever isn't glacier fed, but it is fed from the run off when the snow melts. Brisk is definitly one way to put it. We were there on a pretty hot day, and the water was about 50 F. Good times.

Ah yes, traditonal Canuck diving. I know it well. That's why I live south of the 49th now. Kidding!

DSDO,

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I dove my face off all weekend and didn't have time to log on to the board. So, I log on and to my dismay thought you were misbehaving, on your first post no less! :11:

I got a good laugh out of the fact that you couldn't post an "actual" location.

Hope you have a great time here on the board. It's a great place to meet people to dive with. I dove with a bunch of different ScubaBoard members this weekend.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
