Hey, I jsut checked a LDS here in Mexico for Halcyon gear and their stuff is EXACTLY the same price as tekdiv. Prices here are usually significantly higher due to import tax..

maybe it is time to bite the bullet and buy that new backpack.

I don't know what to do about the situation as I feel I am getting ripped off.

As a preliminary matter, I don't see how you're getting ripped off. They sell, you buy. Unless you didn't get the gear you paid for, its not the shop's fault if you paid more than other shops are charging. Its your fault for not doing your homework. Now that you've done that homework, the next steps seem reasonably simple.

1. Show the LDS owner Halcyon's FTP. Ask why the LDS isn't charging FTP prices.
2. Show a competing shop in Canada that is charging FTP.
3. Show them the home page of www.extreme-exposure.com and a page with shipping charges (if available).
4. Ask LDS whether they are going to charge FTP or whether you should take your business elsewhere.
