Does anybody have firsthand info about the reliability and performance of the Hammerhead revision D? There's been a few issues around here with the Rev C heads playing up, but nobody I know has gotten their hands on the newest model. Thoughts?

Been using mine since Sept 2011. Works great. Ran the Rev C for 4 years before that with no issues. They have a newer version Rev D out with a much larger battery. That's a good choice as the Ds are hungrier than the Cs.

Anything specific that's going on with the ones your referencing?

2 handset failures, a solenoid failure and a cracked cable gland right out of the box. 4 separate units.

What was the nature of the handset failures?
