We were in Bonaire and it was my wife's first time diving in 15 years. She didn't remember any signs. She did master the regulator yell/talk and I could always understand everything that she was "yelling" e.g. "RURLE"(TURTLE), ROOK RER(LOOK THERE)
RIG RORER( BIG LOBSTER)

Kind of like "Scooby speak"

Great link hun - just wish I could get a wetsuit to be that flattering - or even better a drysuit!!!!!

Thanks for the links!
I'm going to be looking for those to convey the following messages.....

Hey! Your weight belt is around your ankles!

Is my BC leaking? I'm stuck on bottom! (and the answer....)

BC needs more air at 60 ft than 15 ft to get you off bottom. :D

and on and on and on......

Some other good ones are:

snooker cue action - Parrotfish
smoking a joint - stonefish
opening a tin - tuna
And the old favourite - Eye, left tit, behind

Like it UKPhil but the Americans probably did not get the Parrotfish one as I am not sure how big snooker is out there - made me laugh though.......

And don't forget - tap head, smoke, drink

Fascinated. What's that the signal for?

Let's knock it on the head (finish) and go for a smoke and a beer....

I don't smoke but I get the idea. Problem is a lot of these are very region specific like that and UKPhil's Parrotfish.

... the snooker cue/Parrotfish reference?? Is it just me?

UKPhil, Jonathan - enlighten me!

Yes, a bit region specific!

Snooker cue = John Parrot = Famous British snooker player:jester:
