I found the snorkelling not to be so good at the beaches far from the water.
Tunnels is really nice though.

Thanks again everyone - I had a great b-day. Tried Tunnels beach, but with 4-6ft surf it didn't look too promising for snorkeling... so I went diving in the hot tub instead. Here's a pic with me and some of the local wildlife I saw.
