Hi Folks,

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us, and with it comes one of the most unique opportunities available in the diving world, we're talking about the Northeast Diving Equipment Group's Vintage Dive Gear Rally at Dutch Springs.

This incredible event is open to anyone with a valid c-card. All you need to do is stop by, sign up, and take a little time assisting other divers as they get dressed in some of the coolest dive gear ever, from the legendary US NAVY MK V hardhat rig, to the latest in commercial hats from Kirby Morgan. Once you gain a little familiarity with the procedures in place, you can select the gear for you very own hardhat adventure, with surface supplied air, full communications and safety divers ready to make sure that you have the adventure of a lifetime!

There is no fee for this incredible opportunity, but considering the tremendous expense of putting on this unique event, donations are gladly accepted.

Dive operations will commence Saturday morning and run through Monday, and Northeast Dive News will be there on Saturday and Sunday to lend a hand and document the fun. Then we're off to meet the staff at QC Scuba on Monday and join Captain Ralph Towlen aboard his new dive boat the Half Time for it's maiden voyage to the wreck of the Coimbra. Sorry, the boat is full, but you can contact Captain Ralph to arrange your own charter, sailing out of Shinnecock, Long Island.

The staff at Dive News Network would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy Memorial Day Weekend!
