Has anyone got the PC interface for the Suunto D6?

I cannot find this thing for sale anywhere. LP at least lists it, but it is OOS.

My LDS says that all D6's come with the PC interface and that it isn't available separately, but I don't think that's correct. (They also looked at me like I was a dead fish when they realized I was trying to buy an accessory for an item that wasn't purchased from them.)

Anyone have a source? Feels like I am trying to buy a unicorn or some other mythical creature.

Are you referring to the USB or Serial connection cable? No, only the D9's come with it. You'll have to purchase it separately if you got a D6. My dive shop happily sold me a USB cable, and I know I've seen them for sale on the web. What troubles are you having?

EDIT: I do remember the shop saying they were only getting a few of the cables separately, and that the one they sold me they pulled out of a D9 box. I had no idea it was difficult to get the cable on its own.

I think the D9/D6 use a USB cable that is particular to just those two computers.

I guess I'll just have to be patient... Thanks!

It shouldn't be very hard to make an interface. The CustomIdeas USB cable is almost a perfect cadidate for a conversion. It woud take a different connector to the computer and a "bent" set of pins and thats about it! I'll send them an email and see what they think.
