I really have to start watching the news/surf report...missing all the good waves!!!

Tuesday we had some divers out for an amazing dive on Oahu's south shore:

An excerpt from Catherine's report:

The 110-ft yard-oiler, the YO257, rests on the ocean floor about 100 ft below the surface. She came clearly into view on the descent as we were beckoned by 180 ft viz today. Chris, our fearless leader, tipped me off after going for the buoy that there was a white tip shark milling around on the wreck. I was able to drop down ahead of everyone and get a few shots before he swam away. Right about the time fourteen divers descended onto the ship, a spotted eagle ray cruised by. The turtles were everywhere! The visibility and the action packed dive made for some animated conversation back on the boat.

Full report can be found at: http://www.pacificparadisedivers.com/report.html

Some of the photos Catherine got of the Eagle Ray and Shark can be found at: http://www.angelfish-productions.com/photo-gallery-sharks-rays.html . Check out the last four pictures on that page, those are all from that dive...

Needless to say, I was VERY upset to be stuck behind the computer that morning!! :(
