Hello from Camano Island, WA.

Where do you live on Camano? I grew up (sorta) near Mabana. My uncle was the developer of Onamac, Thunder Ridge, Cameloch, and others I forgot long ago. I'm in SW WA now, and back to diving after quite a few years. I think diving Camano would be great. Can you share some shore hot spots?

I would not be able to tell you about any shore dives. I would be able to tell you about boat dives and some of the charters out of Anacortes that take you out to the San Juans. I live on the North end not far from the airport. The following photos are of the Airport and it's approach from the South and North. It is a narrow down hill, South to North runway. From the North, you approach the up hill runway at the top of a 80' cliff. It has a pucker factor for pilots. Oh, did I mention it is very short! The owner of the Airport is a friend of mine and takes me up once in awhile. He also is the owner of P-Ponk aviation.
