Hello everyone,

Long time diver. Mostly freedive (spearfish) although I certified through college courses 30yrs ago.

Have a niece interested in the sport and she just certified in the PNW (Puget Sound in WA)

Digging through my gear I realized how long it had been.

Joined the forum to ask, learn, share.

Nice place you folks have here.

Thanks in advance for your collective knowledge

Welcome aboard! I know there are a few other Keys locals around.

Welcome

Thanks for the greetings.

So I am a few weeks into looking at my old gear in anticipation of a visit from family that wants to dive in May and somehow.....

I now have 7 freshly hydroed and filled tanks.
3 complete and ready to dive regulator sets
1 new and 4 lightly used BCDs.
3 older reg sets (vintage mid 1990's) that need rebuilt...with 2 rebuild kits on the way.

...and this AM I was ready to pick up another used reg set to send back with my niece and somebody beat me to it.....I was pretty salty about missing on it....a MR12T with a Proton metal...for $100

Something tells me that I am going to have to throttle back my renewed enthusiasm for equipment...lol

Not on ScubaBoard you're not.
