Hi all,

I’m dropping in to say hi and introduce myself as a new diver & member.

Finished my OW course in August and currently conducting my AOW now.

7 dives down slowly getting there.

So far loving it all, starting my dive adventure in winter all rugged up, so summer should be a breeze.

I’ll continue to lurk in the background and read all the content.

I'm not familiar with the different regions of Australia; is shore diving an option for you, or do you travel to boat dive?

I have the option of shore dives and boat, I’ve done both so far as part of my progression. My local dive site is 30 mins away so it’s easy enough to drive there in my car and jump in.

Yeah so far it has had so much marine
life.
Yesterday we had whales breaching and swimming past us with sea turtles on the surface, and a Grey Nurse shark and so many Port Jackson sharks underwater. Amazing
