I don’t understand what you are talking about. People can speak out their problem based on their decision, even dive shop name. The prudent thing we have to be careful is whether their story is based on the fact or not. If we can’t criticize and review LDS and any dive gears, I am sure that almost half of threads here should be deleted. So, we aren’t supposed to mention company’[font=바탕]s name when we talk about a regulator under your rubric? In the modern society, people buy the product based on the reputation and image (please refer to eBay system). That is the reason why many companies and shops put a lot of money for 15 seconds commercials. For example, in the golf business, the real cost of the equipment is only about 10 percent of its MSRP. Can you guess where your penny goes? So, it is an obsolete custom to be loyal to your LDS under any circumstances. Yes, it is a competitive real world, not school.[/font]

Stop putting the pressure on ScubaDoobaDo to say the name of the shop. In scubaboard, we are not suppose to say the name of the shop or etc... We have the loyal and to respect to any places. Think about this: if your shop didn't do well but trying to improve but someone on Scubaboard is telling everyone that your shop is terrible - what happens to your shop? It may have to go out of business or you may be lucky to get people come in your shop.

If you want to reveal a name, then send a PM to a specific person - not in general public to read.

There are threads/posts that have been deleted due to revealing of names.

Hoosier: you are right in general but in Scubaboard- we have the policies and etc...

Of course, we have mods to help us delete the posts and threads when it's inappropiated for the Scubaboard - so it's at your own risk to say the names, it may be deleted.
