I wear a size 10 1/2 and own regular quattros,medium splits. On almost all occasions I use my splits, the only time I use my quattros is when I want leg cramps.

Diehl, I wear 10 1/2 shoes (regular width) or size 11 (narrow width).
My Quattros are Regulars. The strap adjustment is pretty much at the stops, as tight as possible. I wear 6.5mm booties.
No cramping problems.
Too bad Larry isn't close to you, that's the perfect offer; try them out first! My wife did that with her fins, and tried out flavors until she was happy.

Dove yesterday with a buddy who used split fins. I have aqualung traditional fins. He swam much faster, used much less air, and my hamstrings cramped trying to keep up with him. Also, getting the fins off are always a problem for me. I'm seriiously going to get split fins with a spring strap bebore next weekends dive.
BTW, I've had arthroscopic hip repair and do not have great mobility in my right hip, the side the cramping occurred.
