I'm new so I have only dived DeLeon Springs and Devils Den. I would like try Rainbow River and a few more springs/rivers before trying West Palm and the keys.

Welcome to SB and to a great sport!

Have you considered diving right offshore there, or is it just sand & waves?

The ocean is turbid near shore. If you want to see anything but a sandy bottom, you would need dive by pier.

For shore diving most folks drive 3 hours to West Palm Beach and shore dive or boat dive there.
