Hello from "Elm City" (aka Fredericton, NB) and welcome to ScubaBoard.

Don't forget to visit the Eastern Canada forum; quite a few Maritimers hanging there.

Welcome to the Board...

I'm going to be spending sometime in the Fredericton area... any good diving locations within driving distance. Would be restricted to weekends for my diving opportunities... but would rent a car and gear if there is anything that is realllllllllllly spectacular!!

thanks..

Hi and welcome to the board. I spent 9 weeks in Moncton this past yr on job related visits, 3wks in September, 3wks in Nov/Dec and 3wks in Jan/Feb. You have a great group at the Atlantic Dive Shop there and at least last year an active dive club. I really enjoyed diving with them down in Lunenburg NS on the Saguenay.

Well, there's not really much diving in Fredericton itself. However, we make regular trips to the Bay of Fundy area, where there's great diving. Some of us do the occasional wreck diving trip to Nova Scotia or Quebec.

If you want to chat with locals, try the Eastern Canada forum. You can also join the NB Divers listserv or PM me.
