1+ on the metal, especially the 2nd stage orifice; I wish more current regs would go back to them (metal vs plastic, don't get me started :D ).

Best wishes.

Looks like it takes the same seat as a Scubapro balanced barrel poppet. What do you want to bet the orifice is also the same. Unfortunately, that probably just gives you a choice of who you will pay $20+ for a metal orifice.

Can anyone tell me how the instructors are at TSC?? I got my money back from the shop where I did my OW and am now looking for a place to do my AOW. This looks like it might be a good shop to do it...

Highly recommended. Tell them you're from ScubaBoard and that I sent you. They'll treat you right.

I wonder if the DIY crowds get as much satisfaction stripping down their stages as I do stripping down my .45 and giving it a good cleaning ?
Not much prettier than old slabsides broken down for some lovin', isn't there?
I think anybody mechanically inclined feels that way, I know I love maintaining my guns, and having Harley parts all over is heaven :)

where do the rubber bands go ?

I checked with my LDS and they assured me those are not "rubber bands" but rather "depth-compensating elastomeric fastening devices."

:shocked2:

So where's the other essential parts & tools: duct tape, plastic ties and diver's superglue (aquaseal)? :D
