If it is, then the guys who were described in "Hell Divers Rodeo" invented it...heh

That book describes a few nuts who dived in 60's clothes, and went hunting at 100+ ft. below oil platforms, looking for 150lb-300lb sharks...and often got them...

Not for me though....

And now, back to the original thread.
 
I was on the Lois Ann that day and watched the whole thing take place. It was pretty scary & had us running for the O2 kit!

Fortunately several divers were in the water in no time flat and able to assist the unfortunate drysuit diver back on board the Blue Mistake.

I'm glad he was OK. It's never a good thing to see someone come rocketing up from 100 feet down....

Better: the big squeeze.

I descend pretty slowly, but if / when I get all fumble fingered and can't get the thing on by 40 or 50 feet, things get a little snug.
