NEW CASTLE, N.H. —
An injured diver was rescued from the water off New Castle Saturday morning.

According to the New Castle Fire Department, crew members responded to the area of 211 Wild Rose Lane around 10:10 a.m.

The diver was brought back to shore using the department’s rescue boat where medical care was given.

Details of the diver's injuries were not released.

The Portsmouth Fire Department, New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol and Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services out of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard assisted with the rescue.
