I have Waterproof d7x Nylotech drysuit with a "non-DIR" dump valve position, which causes difficulties with dumping air on accent while remaining in trim (see photos below).
I was proposed to install Sitech Cuff Dump or similar.
What is the most proper, or "best practice" position for it? On most photos on the internet I see that such valve is installed on the "inside" part of the arm, which is confusing, because my intuition says that an "outer" part will be better and that it will be easier to dump an air this way.
Also, which distance from a hand and an elbow should it be: closer to a hand, to an elbow or in between? Two main considerations are: ease of air dumping and whether it will complicate usage of dive computer and other equipment on the same hand.
