Is there any interest in a Goodman style handle for the DRIS 1000 and 500 lights?

Here are some stainless steel knurled nuts that you can buy for those of you that want them. It would need 2 of the 1/4-20 nuts. Looks like they are $4.41 each.

I've got the project out to some manufacturers. It looks like this is going to happen. I may change to anodized aluminum too. This will give a much nicer look to the finished piece.
I'll let you guys know.

So mine will still be here by Friday ? :wink:

Once I pull the trigger on this it will be 30 days or so for production. So yes yours will be here by Friday (you didn't specify which Friday:) )

Hohoho :p Looks like ill beat you to that for the 1st piece :p but will have different dimensions since i got mine from another thread from this forum.

Anodizing is a good idea, cuz bare ally would not be as "tact" as black. Black would be "dir" yea? :p and pink for the ladies? DIY anodizing would be too much fuss for me so I'm just gonna piggy on my workshops' anodizing run :p

Thanks for the inspiration bro. Next, will be the canister light DIY >< its gonna be nuts from reading lucca;s and 350xfire's threads. PCB's and Led driver, electronics are confuses me lol.

>>> suggests adding a Thumb loop <<<< :D

If it ever happens.

It will...the OP has been trying to get the price down for you guys and working hard at it. He hasn't just walked away and has been upfront the whole time that this is a tedious process :wink:
