I've been diving almost exclusively with the Dive Rite HP50 as my primary light. Bought it with the expedition battery and it worked flawlessly for a year. Decided to buy the handheld adaptor for those <2 hour dives and would switch between corded and handheld without any issues. Then one day, the canister stopped working completely. Sent the light to Dive Rite and within a couple weeks they sent the light back working normally. Kept diving it (mostly in handheld configuration) over the course of last year without any issues, but recently decided to switch back to corded for some longer dives. Charged the canister, assembled the light head, bam nothing. Switched back to handheld and it worked flawlessly. Can't get the canister to work at all. Will probably have to send it back to Dive Rite to get it fixed again...

Has anyone had these issues on the HP50? Or any light where you can switch from canister to handheld? Great light, but very frustrating since this is the second time it has happened.
