Hey, Karen!

How's it going? What's the latest on your DIRF at SS? Did you have it yet? Who taught it? How'd it go? How'd it go over with P?

Talk to ya later...I gotta go get my Viagra refilled!

Yeah I think once we get his salinity raised a bit he'll be ok. And after he cleans the stuff he'll inject into his wetsuit the first time he sees viz were ya can actually see your fins lol. I was gonna go to San Carlos this last weekend but it fell apart, I hafta make a trip there sometime soon for part of my el mar internship.

Its nice to see you guys (Steve & Brian) having so much fun at my expense...:mean:

Hi Stephen,

Yes ,we had the DIR-F class Aug 1-3. Tamara Kendel taught it and it went really well. She is great!! All 6 people passed :) so that was pretty cool too. Did open water stuff at Lake Pleasant and had about 10-15ft vis which was awesome, as I was worried about that. All in all it went very smooth. P will be sitting through the next one. We hope to have another one in the next 2 months or so.....Tamara has agreed to come back and make this a regular thing.

Did you ever get to CA for the class?

Couldn't resist the testosterone comment.......usually just lurk, keeps me out of trouble

:D

Lol!!! THAT was funny.

Newdiver, your response of, "nothing to scan" was a mean, personal attack... Totally inappropriate for what might otherwise be a useful discussion.

He was right, though.

I don't even own a cat.

"I think that Brian’s point is a valid one. These books – whether the Fundamentals book or a PADI text – all promote gear sales one way or another."

Exactly...one way or another they both promote gear sales.

But no way no how did I say that Brian meant that "all training manuals were the same."

That's great! I'm glad the course went well. Let me know when the next one will be...I'd like to meet Tamara. Get a big enough class and you might get Michael or Andrew. That would be nice.

Nope. I've not been over since this spring. I'm pretty busy lately.

I think that you should join in the fray more often. I know that I'd like to hear what you have to say.

No more lurking for you!
