Yes and NO! I sent them an e-mail about 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard from them. So, Yes, I have something to say about a business with a 'contact' button but don't return e-mails, and NO, I don't have any first hand experience diving with them. And, I won't, not if they aren't professional enough to return e-mails.

Sorry, no first hand, read good reviews, they are the DIR type folks here it that helps. They are based right at the harbor so no transit time between some other location and the boat. Try the phone. Maybe the internet gods aren’t looking this way, it is in many respects similar to a third world country here on the most remote group of inhabited islands in the world.

Wow, you've got me confused. Sandwich Island is downtown in the Kona Marketplace under the old theater next to a Karaoke Bar and Mexican spot, sort of across the street from a place in the Kona villiage Inn not to be mentioned. I may have to go check and see if they've moved recently. Haven't been in lately but there used to be nothing DIR about them. The only guys I know who do much with DIR are Dive Tek and they don't have a shop location. Sandwich Island is generally quite well liked by it's customers.

Dive Tek doesn't have a shop proper, but they do all of their Nitrox/Trimix Blending at Jack's Dive Locker . . .If you're interested in DIR, Tech or Scooter Diving, they're the Best in Town (or the whole Big Island for that matter). http://www.divetekhawaii.com/
Call 'em, schedule a Charter and meet the Boat & Crew at Honokohau Harbor @7AM. . .

Oh no, I’m certain I’m the one confused. Thanks guys for straightening that out.
Feel free to beat me with my snorkel when you see me (I’m guessing you wouldn’t have one, at least not handy.)
