My wife and I are planning to dive at Lake Rawlings this weekend (not w/DUI demo) and I was wondering how fast/efficient the tank filling station is on-site. We plan to do 2-3 dives per day and I am trying to decide how many tanks to rent and bring with us. If the air filling station is fast I may just rent two and re-fill between dives, if not than I will bring at least four. Thanks.

Air fills can usually be done in a few minutes while you wait (unless it is jam packed), Banked EANx is hit or miss, not all the people behind the counter can do fills.

Thanks for the info, I think we will take two for each of us and just fill as needed. This will be our first dives since getting certified and practice for our trip to Belize next month. Also a checkout for the Scubatoys gear we just purchased (Zeagle Brigades and Oceanic GT3 regs).

Heckler, what part of NOVA are you from?

I am in Arlington, VA.

I will be there this weekend doing the OW cert dives.

I'll be in the big red diesel Ford P/U truck with the "now hiring" sign on the tailgate.
