Last minute sell offs to the Carribean

Hello all, I'm coming down to Florida in mid January for two weeks.
My wife and I will fly into Ft. Lauderdale and would like to find a last minute deal to a small Carribean island,for the first week.The second week will be a Blackbeards trip. Anyone have any web sites that you use for this? Can i do this at the airport?
Should we go to the Miami Airport instead?
Any help would be great....

I can't imagine that anyone at Miami International would offer you a great last minute deal. The airlines would be delighted to offer you a last minute fare at a ridiculous price.

If you're looking for a last minute air+hotel or an air+hotel+diving package deal, you'd better be armed with phone numbers, but be prepared to take your chances - and be prepared to spend that week in Miami.
