While she wasn't especially active as a diver or on SB, @Lauren Kenyon was very active in our local grotto and canyoneering communities here in the PNW where she recently relocated. She passed away in a tragic accident last month during a canyoneering trip. Although we hadn't been diving together yet, she was a joy to be around.

I'm sorry to hear that, deepest condolences.

Far too young. Condolences to family and friends. Any idea about what happened? Fall? Flash flood?
She was 24 yes. She fell through the top of an unstable log jam and was caught in the branches/strainer underneath. Her teammates attempted to keep her face above water as they dismantled the log jam, but she eventually succumbed and drowned.
