Please excuse the rookie question but everyone seems helpful so I thought I would ask. I am new to SCUBA diving but not lobstering or snorkeling. I have dove from my boat in the keys to catch lobster and just grab my tickle stick, net, and catch bag and go over on to a "spot" and do my thing. My question is regarding beach diving while hunting lobster, how do you carry everything? Obvisoulsy I would be carrying the above mentioned items as well as towing a dive flag - that seems like a lot to deal with, but yet I've seen photos of folks carrying all that and a speargun with them! Is there tricks to carrying the necessary lobster equipment along with towing the dive flag? Is everything attached to the BC? Thanks in advance for the help.

Lot's of spearhunters from shore will use a boogie board attached with a line to themselves. You can mount your flag on it, and can clip your game bag to it as well. Most of them strap a 5lb weight to the bottom of it to keep it from flopping over. Here's a couple pics
