Looking to get in the water and need someone to dive with. I live in fort atkinson, wi and could meet with anyone from Madison or Milwaukee or where ever. If you are relatively close by, then message me. Just eager to get in the water. Thanks!

I'm down in Gurnee, I do a lot of commuting to Gilboa, White Star and central Florida. But I also hit Haigh and Pearl Lake. But when the charter boats get in the water on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron I'm all about the wrecks. If wreck diving turns you on you've come to the right place.

Pheldman,

There will be alot of "groups" diving at Gilboa starting in April.

Especially the GLWC.

You could stay at the Rodeway Inn nearby..40-45 dollars(?).

Would make for a nice weekend. I call em sanity breaks

T. Bix is a great guy. If you can meet up with him, I would highly recommend it!

And as Davemohio alluded to, the GLWC has a Meet and Greet at Gilboa in April. The thread for that is sticky at the top of the posts for the GLWC area. It is a great event to attend. Its an easy way to meet many local divers and find dive buddies!

Several of us will be diving Gilboa the 31st, then many of the same and some others are going to White Star Sunday the first.

I'll arrive at Gilboa about 10 AM, however, many others will be there earlier, say about 9 am I'd guess.

You are more than welcome to join in. :)

Ever consider clubbing it? Do a web search on the Badger state dive club ( http://badgerstatediveclub.com/ ) and the Buccanners (Buccaneers Dive Club Home ). I founded the Deep Six ( http://www.deepsixscuba.com/ ). We are out of Port Washington, a bit further north. Doing Ohio is okay, but you have much better diving right at your front door! Lake Michigan is probably divings best kept secret. Then theres Fortune Pond, Lake Wazee and Door county. A ton of oppurtunity fairly close!

Jim

I'm eager to get in the water and I would meet pretty much anywhere to dive t bix. I would love to do some wreck diving too. Any good lakes around southern wi or northern Illinois that would be worth going to besides pearl lake?
