I emailed your message to my son who dives La Jolla very frequently. I lost a rental weight belt there in October. Rough bottem conditions to find anything. I think those lobsters are collecting gear.

Sean and I will take you to the 'dump' in Feb or March or so when all our gear ends up over there! We found all kinds of stuff over there in Sept - after all the summer losses!
