Hi John,
There is residential unrestricted parking just past the stop sign at the entrance/exit of the parking lot.
It would be quite feasible to gear up around 8-9, move the car(s) out of the lot, go diving, and retrieve the cars for reloading in the parking lot when you return.
Just have to wait until these dumb waves subside. Only people happy with the water conditions right now are the surfers!
Anyway, true night dives are quite possible at Malaga, even after the 9PM parking restriction.
