Something like this could work for an expedition. Just cut the plastic top off and load it with equipment, when you are on site unload the container, turn it over and weight it down so it can also serve as your diving bell. If you also run a hose from the surface and turn the existing drain valve to the inside a diver could vent and replenish the air from the inside the bell. The container is 40"x48"x46" and holds 275 gallons.
