The Temporary Beach Access Trail at the Terranea Resort and Spa will be intermittently closed for construction purposes beginning Friday, October 10, 2008 through Wednesday, November 12, 2008.

During the temporary closure, escourted trail access will be provided to the public between sunrise and sunset.

The permanent Beach Access Trail will be available to the Public in November 2008 (temporary fencing will remain during construction).

Thanks for the info but is the walk going to be shorter then it is now.

Great Info Max, I would hate to have gone up there only to be turned back by a closed trail. Ara explained to me that personnel will be at the temporary public parking lot off Nantasket Drive . If not, the security guard at the entry gate to the construction site off PVDS will coordinate the escort.

I was there last week when they offered me a ride down in their company Suburban. They couldn't guarantee they would be there after I made two dives, so I took my wagon instead.
