Customer Support and Web-based Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
Following 2-3 months of training and orientation, the iSnorkel Customer Support and Web-based Marketing Manager will be capable of managing the day-to-day operations of iSnorkel’s web-based retail snorkel and swim store while reporting directly to the on-site owners.  Additionally, this individual will work closely with the owners to create, implement, analyze and measure the success of iSnorkel’s on-line marketing programs, which will incorporate a variety of web-based tools, including but not limited to, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social networking, blogging, email and video to inform customers, promote services, and attract new business to iSnorkel. This position has the opportunity to develop further micro-sites including iScubaDive.com and iStandUpPaddle.com. Travel expectations may become part of the expanded job duties but would still be minimal.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·      Effectively handle customer calls and resolve customer concerns ·      Manage the day-to-day operations of support personnel ·      Manage and process orders and shipments from various channels inbound and outbound ·      Manage iSnorkel’s web-based marketing program ·      Formulate and implement web-based marketing strategies, such as SEO, paid search marketing, email contact, and social networking ·      Analyze and report on program performance: provide recommendations for improvement and suggest new concepts ·      Develop systems to generate leads from web traffic and track efforts to convert those leads into customers ·      Communicate effectively with internal iSnorkel team members  
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent experience with emphasis in communications, customer service and retail marketing is required.  
SKILLS & ABILITIES
An energetic, trustworthy and confident personality is essential.  This position requires a self-directed individual skilled at communicating in a tactful, courteous and professional manner.  He/she lives and breathes online retail customer service through traditional and digital media, aspiring to be on the cutting edge of web based technology promoting iSnorkel throughout the water sports, snorkeling, scuba diving, stand up paddling, and surf industries.  Ideally, this person should eagerly adapt and learn with keen attention to details and the ability to think creatively.  This person will be a key contributor to the future success and direction of iSnorkel and its future website channels.   
REQUIREMENTS
·     A dependable, trustworthy and self-directed work ethic is essential
·     The ability to direct and manage the work of subordinates
·     Experience and confidence with retail order fulfillment, processing, shipping and returns
·     A comprehensive understanding of social networking and how sites like Facebook and LinkedIn can be used to promote a business, attract prospective customers and enhance a brand
·     Ability to make critical design and technical recommendations for our website
·     Strong desire to promote and explain our services to our customers and prospects using a variety of digital media
·     Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
·     Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously
·     The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to climb storeroom stepladders in a warehouse environment
