So does this mean that my setup is okay for Argon? Do divers here find it unneccesary to dive with the mini SPG on this type of setup?

Gombessa has already confirmed the amount of dives he can approx get from his Argon setup and says at depth it's different.

I took that Argon bottle to three depths that day, 81 feet, 45 feet and then 85 feet. All with 6cf of Argon.

I don't know how much gas is in there I haven't checked since I last checked it after the first two dives; it had 1700 psi.

I would've have been nice to have a SPG on there but like I mentioned it doesn't seem like divers choose the Highland reg for Argon which does have three plugs, two LP and one HP.

Oh, yeah, didn't mean to imply it wasn't. I have a bad habit of double checking things when I'm unsure.Arouses my curiosity. The discussion really is just semantic. In practice, you buy new dive specific gear from anything resembling a reputable source, it's all good.

Just for the record I went to the garage and connected my main regulator which has a SPG and got 1,000 PSI left in that Argon bottle.

I did three dives using Argon on a 6cf aluminum tank @ 3,000 PSI

Dives were:

Dive #1, 81ft @ 27 min, Gas cons .82 cft/min

Dive #2, 49ft @ 31 min, Gas cons .81 cft/min

Dive #3, 85ft @ 35 min, Gas cons .74 cft/min

Not sure if I'm doing okay with consumption of Argon?
