I am interested in exploring Moore Reservoir from the I-93 parking lot on the VT side, halfway between St Johnsbury and Littleton. Looking for guidance here: is it allowed (should be, since swimming and boating is ok)? Safe to dive since it's close to the dam? Interesting? Would Old County Road South (toward Upper Waterford) be better?

I'd be curious if any of the Pattenville or Upper Waterford foundations are still visible.
