Greetings To All,

4 of us, all Master Divers, will be staying at the Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino on Cable Beach in Nassau for 4 nights the last week of June. The last time we were there, we dove for 3 days with Stuart Coves operation. Very nice but a 50 minute + ride from the hotel and pretty much a cattle boat operation with 30 minute dive time limits.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY OTHER DIVE OPERATOR PERSONAL SUGGESTIONS of anything better?? We would really like to dive the ocean Blue Hole off of Andros Island.

Does anybody have any opinions regarding CUSTOM AQUATICS, BAHAMA DIVERS, or any other outfits that would meet our needs?

Your recommendations, opinions, observations would all be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Thanks to all in advance & may you have a pleasant & safe diving season!!!

I've used these guys in the past, but it has been a while.

Diving Rates

The ride from Cable Beach is pretty short, we just used the bus instead of waiting for the van from the shop.

Thanks DiverSteve!! As Senior Moderator please forward me any posts regarding any of the dive Operations when you see one or any data that may be relevant. It would be greatly appreciated & thanks for your work with ScubaBoard!! It is a GREAT resource!!

If you check TripAdvisor and look at the Nassau section of "things to do" you will get many detailed trip reports on both operations. The general consensus is that Stuart Cove's has better diving and staff but tends to be cattle boat diving, which I've found to be true often but not on every dive, and Bahama Divers' dive sites aren't as good and the staff is a mixed bag. Sounds like people either love 'em or hate 'em. I've never dove with them.

I would suggest diving with Stuart Cove's - they are the best run service on the rock of Nassau. I dive with them often! Good shark dive for all divers new and seasoned! When you arrive at the cove - find Alvin and he will sort you out. Stuart Cove's pickup at all hotels and resorts. Have fun and good luck!

Does Stuarts Cove pick up at the cruise ship dock? I'm not seeing any dives offered through the cruise line on my cruise so I guess I'll have to book on my own.
