We just returned from a trip on the Sea... (Jan 15 - Jan 22)

Cozumel:
We booked our diving through the Cruise Line. But, unfortunately, we were not able to dive because of weather. The winds had picked up so there were 6-8 ft. seas that day and the Harbor Master closed the harbor to all small craft. So we spent the afternoon bar hopping and drowning our sarrows.

Roatan:
Again we booked our diving through the Cruise Line.

The same winds that had plagued us in Cozumel returned in Roatan so we half expected too not be able to dive. Then we started hearing that all water activities had been canceled again. After about a half hour we learned that most of the snorkeling trips had been canceled but that we would be able to dive.

The dive operator was Anthony's Key Resort. Boat trip and diving were both outstanding. The bus trip and city were an "experience" to say the least.

Like others have said... Dive here... There is nothing really to see or do other than dive. The city is very dirty and extremely poor.

Belize:
We did not dive here, but wish that we had. We talked to a few people who did dive here and they all said that it was a great experience.

Cancun:
The Cruise Line does not offer a diving excursion at this port so we did not dive. But if you want, there are quite a few of vendors that offer day trips over to Isla for diving right there at the end of the dock.

Other Information:
* On your first day, find a drink waiter on the pool deck by the name of Gaday (pronounced like G'Day Mate). Tip him well and you will probably get alot of your drinks for free.
* Avoid the cafateria on deck 9. The food is MUCH better in the main dining room.
* Bring some Bonine with you if you are at all prone to motion sickness. The Sea is a smaller ship and therefore has more motion then other larger ships.

I hope you enjoy your trip...
