I am looking for some SCUBA destinations in North America that aren't over-dove. Cave systems, sumps, sunken towns, ect. Something that I might have to haul my gear far into the woods for. Any ideas?

If your travel plans every extend to a visit to the Canadian Rockies and you're passing through Banff, AB, you might want to consider a dive in Lake Minnewanka.

This is a favourite dive for local fresh water divers who try to maintain their skills and dream of warmer waters. The current dam has flooded the older dam sites as well as an abandoned townsite. Check with any of the local dive shops in Calgary for details on this dive. The conditions vary significantly throughout the year with late fall typically providing the best visibility. Of course, you can always visit in the middle of winter and go ice diving!

No, there are no new sites! And you can't get there from here!**********:smilie(':chinese:')
