Good day all, I have just received my descent g1 after playing around with it, I pressed it in to gauge mode to see how it is. I haven't gone diving yet as im quite busy with work. I am trying to return it to the normal watch face, but everything I've tried to get it out of gauge mode has not worked, it is stuck in this mode. PLS help

found that online:

Resetting Surface Pressure on the Descent G1 Series

  1. Hold Light until the watch powers off.
  2. Hold Light to turn the watch back on.
  3. Hold Menu when the Garmin logo appears.
NOTE: Wait on the prompt for 60-90 seconds before choosing Yes.
  4. Choose Yes to set the current pressure as the surface pressure.
Once these steps are completed, depth will go to 0 and the dive will end after the normal end-of-dive timeout.

Hope it helps

Note: it literally took me 5 seconds to find that online, Try google..

If it's like the other versions, bottom right button.

I took gauge mode off my main list as to me it is not useful other than locking me out for a day.

I have tried it, have not received the reset surface pressure yet :(
Is there anyway I can override the watch with a computer ?

what i am trying right now is sucking on the pressure port to get it to go to 3.3 feet and give me the end dive, it is almost working

done, thanks all for the quick response

Note, sucking on the pressure port does work, but does need 2 people to help see the screen I will forever remove gauge mode
