I have a friend i work with that used to scuba dive (until he had twins last year). I was talking to him and he has a friend that is a instructor. Im going to call him up and see about getting my cert. I figured i would offer to pay for his trip down to beaver or bull shoals or another lake of his choice for a few days if he will do my open water dives. This would give him a free dive trip. I fully agree that i need to be certified. That peer pressure wins sometimes when your down there enjoying the water but only able to stay down a short time on a breath while the others around you are staying down 20 or 30 minutes at a time.
